Healthcare training for Jackson County

Jackson County runs along I-85 northeast of Gwinnett, from Braselton and Hoschton up through Jefferson to Commerce. Our classroom is in Lilburn, down the same interstate — so Jackson County students either make that trip, study online where a program allows it, or have us come to them.

We teach American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS and Heartsaver courses, the Medication Aide (CMA / Med Tech) course and anger management classes, and we deliver in-service training at care facilities. None of it depends on a Jackson County address, but how you take it does.

How to train

Three ways to train from Jackson County

  1. Our Lilburn classroom

From most of Jackson County the main road is I-85 south into Gwinnett, then on toward Lilburn.

From Jefferson, Commerce and the rural east of the county it is a long run, so check the directions link against your own address before a class morning.

  2. On site, by arrangement

Jackson County is outside metro Atlanta, so on-site training is arranged case by case. For a plant safety team, a school staff or a care home, bringing the instructors and equipment to you is often more practical than sending everyone to Lilburn; the quote accounts for location and travel.

  3. Online, where the subject allows

CEUs and NCLEX review run online as well as in person, and anger management has a self-paced online course. Courses with a hands-on skills check — BLS, ACLS, PALS, Heartsaver and Medication Assistance — need an in-person skills session.

Which course

Who we train from Jackson County

Jackson County's employers are a mix of large industrial and distribution sites along the I-85 corridor, schools, senior-care and personal care homes, and the medical and dental practices that have followed the growth around Braselton and Hoschton.

Workplace responders at plants and warehouses are usually asked for Heartsaver CPR/AED with First Aid. Caregivers who assist residents with medications are the audience for the Medication Aide course. Nurses and clinical staff need BLS.
