Who we train from Stone Mountain
If you care for people outside a hospital — in home health, assisted living, a group home or a senior-care community — the course you need depends on your role. Caregivers and direct-support staff who are not licensed clinicians are usually asked for Heartsaver CPR/AED, often with First Aid.
Licensed nurses and other clinical staff usually need BLS, whether they work in the community or at a hospital such as Emory Hillandale in nearby Lithonia.
