Healthcare training for Fulton County

Fulton County is long — it runs from Milton in the north to Palmetto and Chattahoochee Hills in the south — and how far our Lilburn classroom is depends entirely on which end you live in. Johns Creek borders Gwinnett; South Fulton is on the far side of Atlanta.

So for Fulton County more than anywhere, we suggest choosing how to train by where you are: the classroom for North Fulton, on-site training for teams anywhere in the county, and online programs where the subject allows it.

How to train

Three ways to train from Fulton County

  1. Our Lilburn classroom

From Johns Creek, Alpharetta, Roswell and Milton, the route runs east across Gwinnett toward Lilburn. From Sandy Springs and Atlanta, I-285 and I-85 lead northeast into Gwinnett. From South Fulton, East Point, College Park and the airport area, it is one of the longest trips of any county on our list.

  2. On site at your facility

Fulton County is metro Atlanta, so on-site training is part of our normal coverage anywhere in the county, north or south. For south Fulton teams in particular, bringing the training to you is usually the practical choice. Sessions are priced per group with a minimum headcount.

  3. Online, where the subject allows

CEUs and NCLEX review run online as well as in person, and anger management has a self-paced online course. Courses with a hands-on skills check — BLS, ACLS, PALS, Heartsaver and Medication Assistance — need an in-person skills session.

Which course

Who we train from Fulton County

North Fulton's hospitals include Emory Johns Creek Hospital and Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, and the Sandy Springs medical district — Northside Hospital Atlanta, Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite — employs clinical staff from across the metro. Alpharetta and Sandy Springs also carry large corporate office parks.

Clinical staff usually need BLS, with ACLS or PALS for emergency, critical-care and pediatric roles. Corporate offices designating workplace responders usually need Heartsaver CPR/AED with First Aid.
